ICSE & ISC 2019 Results Out: Compartmental Exam For The First Time

The CISCE declared the Class 10 and Class 12 board results today.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared the Class 10 and Class 12 board results on Tuesday, 7 May, at 3 pm.

Juhi Rupesh Kajaria from Mumbai and Manhar Bansal from Muktsar both topped the ICSE (Class 10) exam by scoring 99.60 percent each, whereas Dewang Kumar Agarwal from Kolkata and Vibha Swaminathan from Bengaluru both topped the ISC (Class 12) by scoring 100 percent each.

Relief for the Students

The CISCE will hold compartmental exams for the first time this year. Those candidates who appeared for five subjects but could not clear one or two subjects will now have a chance to re-appear for those subjects.

The registration for the same is likely to start from 24 June and go on till 30 June. The exams will be conducted from 15 July to 17 July, whereas the results will be announced in August.

Who are eligible?

The students’ marksheets would reflect if they are eligible for the Compartmental Examination. Their respective schools can register the students online for the exam. Clearing English would be mandatory for both, ICSE and ISC students.
