The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the schedule for practical examinations for Class 10 and 12 Board exams.
According to reports:
The board has notified affiliated schools that the practical examinations for classes 10 and 12 board exams are slated to start from 16 January 2018.
Schools have also been instructed to upload the marks for the practical exams by 25 February 2018.
The circular, dated 8 December 2017, provides schools instructions on how to to conduct practicals. The circular also contains instructions on the submission of internal grades for the students of class 10 to the board. The answer sheets for class 12 practical exams have been dispatched as well.
The CBSE board exams comprise both practical as well as theory papers for students of class 10 and 12. Whether or not a paper requires practical assessment alongside the theory depends on the nature of the subject.
As of now, the CBSE has not given any update about the dates of the main theory papers, but the students can expect it in January.
According to NDTV, the Board will finalise the exam dates only after the election dates are released for a few states.
Times Now quoted experts as saying that this year’s boards may start a day or two after the typical 1 March date, owing to the Holi holiday.
Students are requested to wait for the official announcement of the board exam dates on the Central Board’s website.
