- In a new two-year high, the rupee was trading at 63.82 against the US dollar at 12.39 pm on 2 August, cruising past the 64-mark.
- This all-time high comes ahead of the RBI bi-monthly policy that is scheduled to be unveiled at 2.30 pm.
- According to Livemint, the rupee was up 0.34 percent from its Tuesday close at 64.08, and has gained 6.2 percent so far this year.
