Sensex, Nifty End Higher Amid Volatility, Led by Gain in Infosys

Market was tilted in favour of the buyers, as 930 stocks advanced and 504 shares declined on the Stock Exchange.

Indian equity benchmarks ended higher amid volatility on Friday, 11 October, with Sensex and Nifty gaining 0.6 percent each, led by a gain in Infosys ahead of its results announcement, BloombergQuint reported.

At closing bell on Friday, Sensex rose 0.65 percent to end at 38,127 , while the NSE Nifty 50 rose 0.63 percent to 11,305.05 to close at 11,305.05.

Meanwhile, the broader market, represented by the NSE Nifty 500 Index rose 0.53 percent. The market breadth was tilted in favour of sellers.
