India’s head coach Anil Kumble made it clear on Tuesday that KL Rahul and Murali Vijay will be opening the batting for the home side in the one-off Test against Bangladesh, which begins on 9 February at Hyderabad.
With Ajinkya Rahane back in the Test squad, the Indian team management may have to make a tough call of dropping the triple centurion Karun Nair.
However, Kumble said that the team combination hasn’t been decided yet.
