Traditional looking wedding invitation cards are so last decade. A Gujarat couple has gone viral for printing wedding cards that look almost like a WhatsApp conversation.
Surat-based Arzoo and Chintan were done with regular boring wedding cards. For their special day they wanted to invite guests in a cool way, which turned out to be a four page long ‘Whats App Style’ invite.
While Chintan, being a web designer, executed this ‘project’ the idea came from his fiance Arzoo.
According to this NDTV report, the front of the card has the words ‘Unlock Invitation’ followed by a picture (in place of a user’s avatar) of the two of them in the next page.
The ‘status message’ reads: you are obligated to attend our wedding else you will be blocked on WhatsApp.
Chintan and Arzoo aren’t the only couples who kept up with the times when it came to their wedding. Earlier a couple from Pune had orchestrated a PUBG style wedding photoshoot as well.
