With Prabhas returning to the big screen after the stupendous success of the Baahubali films, Saaho has become one of the most-awaited films of this year. And rightly so! The trailer looked slick and Prabhas seemed to be enjoying the high-octane action sequences and the contemporary setting. The makers too are going all out to promote the film for the Hindi audiences, and have released three songs so far.
The latest song, which dropped on 19 August, is called Bad Boy, featuring Jacqueline Fernandez. The song is written, composed and sung by Baadshah and giving him company on the vocals is Neeti Mohan.
What better way to promote a film than release a couple of party tracks or item numbers, right? But unfortunately in this case, the makers try just too hard to grab eyeballs, and instead the song turns into a cringe-fest.
So Prabhas makes a splashing entry on a tank and has at least a 100 girls swooning over him. And he’s “a bad boy” so he can touch them (or choke them? Go figure!) the way he likes. Also, they are all white.
And then with all the swag in the world Prabhas is made to mouth the following lines: “Sab cash, no cheques”, “Mood me aa gaya to baby tere boyfriend ke aage laga dunga ex”, “Tujhe nahi hai pata kitna maza hai mere touch mein”, “Swag kare mera flex” and many more! Oh, and also this: “High jaise helicopter, yo! I'm sick bulao koi doctor ko!”
Really, Baadshah? Tanishk Bagchi’s lyrics in the film’s other gem ‘Psycho Saiyaan’ sound like poetry now!
Jacqueline is no doubt an amazing dancer, but all the choreographers make her do in this video is shake her booty in a 100 different ways.
And why would they make Prabhas twerk? His expressions say it all.
