In the ad, a young professional is seen chairing a meeting when he suddenly gets a message on his phone. He ignores it and goes about his day till he finds some privacy to check it out, it turns out to be a birthday wish from his dad. Although on time, the video seems to be old!
While he is on his way to the airport, presumably traveling for another meeting, he decides to watch the rest of the message. His dad is heard telling him, through the video message, that he left a lot of things unsaid. This touches a nerve somewhere and the man ditches his flight for a train, and proceeds on his way to an unknown destination.
He’s seen standing at the gate of a house, but that look of ‘being home’ is written all over his face. An old woman, with her back towards him, can be seen distributing some sweets to children. The viewer soon realizes that mother and son are meeting each other unexpectedly and after a long time. This birthday reunion brings tears to not just the mother’s eyes but also to the viewers’.
Mother and son watch the father’s message again. These are words from another time when his father was alive, telling his son to pursue his dreams with all his heart but to take care of his family as well.
