Earlier on 29th October, Indian Army said four Pakistan posts were destroyed in a massive fire assault on Saturday in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir, ANI reported quoting Indian Army sources.

Reports suggested that heavy casualties have been inflicted as a result of this attack.

Earlier in the day, the army had said that it would retaliate effectively and in equal measure to the ceasefire violations and the beheading of jawan Mandeep Singh.

Pakistan had violated ceasefire in Keran on Saturday morning, in which one woman was injured, officials said.

They said at the time that the Indian army retaliated to the "unprovoked" Pakistani aggression "in equal measure".
