The makers of Dangal held a special screening of the film ahead of its release. The entire cast of the film including Aamir Khan, Sanya Malhotra, Sana Fatima Sheikh, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar posed with the Phogats; Geeta, Babita and their father, Mahavir Singh Phogat.

Sachin Tendulkar, Raj Thackeray, Arjun and Anil Kapoor were also among those spotted.
