I Will Be Scared If My Daughter Chooses Acting: Shahid Kapoor

Shahid Kapoor confesses that he will be scared if his daughter decides to be an actor.

Shahid Kapoor was seen with his best friend Kunal Rawal on Vogue BFFs and when asked about his daughter growing up to be an actor, Shahid paused and confessed that he wouldn’t want that to happen. It is quite surprising coming from someone who himself has been in the profession for over a decade and even his parents are veterans of the field.

I will be scared if my daughter comes and tells me that she wants to become an actress. It’s a tough job.

Speaking of father Pankaj Kapur, he quipped about him being overprotective and hyper which he hopes he wouldn’t be with his daughter, Misha.

My father is a great guy and is an extremely nice person. He is also overprotective and hyper. I hope I won’t be that to my daughter. My dad told me that ‘Now, you will know all the complaints that I have always had against you.’

I am getting used to being a working man. I was completely dedicated to fatherhood. I was off work for five months. My daughter is almost two months old now. Every day is amazing with her. You don’t realise how much a child can make you feel. I asked friends having babies for advice and they all said when it will happen you will know.
