Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are probably the highest paid actresses in Bollywood, and more often than not, they are vying for the same films and filmmakers too. Recently, we had heard that Deepika was being considered in a film being produced by Dharma productions opposite Fawad Khan, but it looks like the tables have turned. The role, as we now hear, has gone to Katrina Kaif and she is elated. Soon after Baar Baar Dekho, we will get to see this gorgeous girl falling in love with the dapper Fawad Khan. Sorry Deepika :(

2. Is Ileana D’Cruz Suing The Makers Of Aankhen 2?
Gone are the days when films are announced with glitz and glamour. But we recently saw Amitabh Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and director Anees Bazmi announcing the star cast of Aankhen 2 in Mumbai. The event was top notch but here’s the catch- the makers informed the media that Ileana D ‘Cruz would be the leading lady in the thriller. But sources have revealed that the actress never gave her nod to the film. So was the announcement made without Ileana’s permission?
For years now, people have stopped having lavish events to announce films. The only reason to have one is for the producer to rake in money. When a maker announces a film with a big star cast, he can impress investors to part with moolah. It’s just a money game, then whether the film gets made or not, the producer has got his hands on enough money. Gaurang showed Ileana’s video at the mahurat yesterday and claimed she was doing the film. Bachchan also confirmed it. But the fact is, she is not doing the film and the announcement has made her furious. She came to know about it only after the event when people contacted the actress to congratulate her. 3. Bahubali 2 Has Been Sold For A Whopping 350 Crores
Bahubali was one of the biggest cinematic hits we’ve ever witnessed. The film raked approximately Rs 600 crore and had a fair run at the box office. Now that its second instalment is all set to release in April 2017, buzz is that the film’s theatrical rights have already been sold for Rs 350 crore.
If the figures are true, which possibly is the case, the Rs 350 crore deal also means that Baahubali 2 will have to do at least Rs 550 crore (in business) to be a profit making project. If it doesn’t, it will lose out on a lot of money. That is also something that the makers have in mind. But then again, Baahubali 2 will hopefully cross that mark worldwide very easily.Revealed a trade analyst.

4. Arshad Warsi Is Going To Have One Helluva Diwali
Anees Bazmi is coming out with the second instalment of Aankhein on Diwali 2017. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Arshad Warsi in pivotal roles and Bazmi is very excited to have a stellar cast for the sequel Aankhen 2. But it’s Arshad Warsi who should be feeling lucky. He has two films releasing on Diwali next year.

Co-incidently, Rohit Shetty is also very excited about reprising his cast including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, Tusshar Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Rimi Sen next Diwali. The fourth instalment is titled Golmaal Again. While Arshad happens to be a part of both the films, and luckily the previous parts of both the films have been big hits, we are assuming that Diwali would be a big day for the actor.

5. Kriti Sanon Says “You Don’t Need A Brother To Celebrate Rakhi”
Kriti has a bold ideology about Raksha Bandhan. She believes it is just about siblings protecting each other and you need not necessarily need a brother to celebrate the occasion. Even though Kriti doesn’t have a brother, the actress ties a Rakhi to her sister Nupur Sanon.
I celebrate Rakhi with my sister every year. It’s not about feminism, it’s basically questioning the meaning of the festival. It’s not about a brother protecting his sister, rather siblings protecting each other and being there for each other. I don’t have a brother. However, this year the actor celebrated the festival a day later, as she was busy shooting for her film Raabta in Budapest.
Unfortunately, I won’t be with Nupur on Rakhi as I’m shooting, and will be back the next day. So, it’ll be a post celebration of sorts this time, we both always try to spend Raksha Bandhan together. And if we are away, we make sure we talk to each other on the phone that day. We have been celebrating the festival the same way since childhood. We’d always first tie Rakhis to each other and give each other gifts or chocolates, and only then meet other relatives and cousins.
