Following the credit controversy, writer and editor Apurva Asrani has now put out his original script of Kangana Ranaut-starrer, Simran on Twitter with the permission of the film’s producers.
Simran, which has been lauded for Kangana’s feminist role in the film, has also been criticised for its one-dimensional supporting cast.
According to Kangana, she turned Apurva’s original “dark and gritty thriller” into a “light, fun film” and the result is for all to see.
But Apurva’s script is getting a somewhat mixed response with many Kangana “fans” liking the film more, while others liking the original plot.
It looks like this isn’t the end of the “credit” controversy.
