Singer Mika Singh has been arrested in New Delhi for allegedly assaulting a doctor at a concert in April.
Mika is accused of having slapped an ophthalmologist working at Ambedkar Hospital in the city. An FIR was filed against the singer after the doctor complained that Mika insulted him and slapped him on the stage. Police questioned the singer on Thursday before making the arrest.
According to a Times Now report the singer was granted bail on a personal bond Rs 20,000 from the Inderpuri police station in West Delhi.
The arrest comes just a day after Mika celebrated his 38th birthday.
