The first trailer of the sixth installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise is here. And it’s every bit as action packed as you would expect it to be, complete with Tom Cruise aka Ethan Hunt’s impossible chases from the bad guys in the sky, and on the ground. The film picks up with the team makes an effort to undo the damage of a mission gone wrong. Despite an injury on set while filming, Cruise manages to pull off a number of impossible stunts in the trailer. Take a look:
Mission: Impossible - Fallout, which is scheduled to release in 2018, comes after his 2015 film, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation.
The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who also helmed Rogue Nation. The film also stars Rebecca Ferguson and Alec Baldwin as the secret agents Ilsa Faust and Alan Hunley from the earlier film. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Henry Cavill also joins the cast, along with What's Love Got to Do with It actor, Angela Bassett.
Mission: Impossible – Fallout hits theaters on 27 July.
