The stage is set for Bollywood stars to set ablaze in Madrid, Spain but all eyes are on the ‘Hollywood returned’ beauties (as Salman likes to refer to them as) Priyanka chopra and Deepika Padukone. These gorgeous ladies have wrapped up their respective Hollywood projects and are in such great demand back home that they’ve now started charging by the minute. The buzz is that both Priyanka and Deepika might be charging a whopping Rs 33 lakh per minute (approximately) to perform on the IIFA stage this year. They’re both scheduled to perform individually on Bollywood’s big night, for roughly four minutes each. That makes them richer by about Rs 1.3 crore respectively. Time sure is money for these divas.
According to a Mid-Day report, a source was quoted confirming that the two actress top the search of Bollywood’s most favourite actors in Madrid, and hence the high demand.
The organisers were in talks with many celebrities to perform on stage. They even conducted a research to find out which Bollywood celebrities are popular in Madrid and results showed Deepika and Priyanka top the actresses’ list and therefore, were ready to shell out a hefty amount to have them in their performance line-up. Normally, Bollywood girls are paid Rs 70-80 lakh for a stage act, depending on their popularity and market value.A source (as reported by Mid-Day)
Their market value seems to have shot up considerably about their stints abroad with Quantico and xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. We also hear that Salman gets paid Rs 5 crore per stage performance while Hrithik Roshan charges Rs 3.5-4 crore.
