Sushmita Sen, who turned 44 on 19 November, has shared a few photographs and videos from her birthday celebrations on Instagram. Her partner Rohman Shawl and kids Renee and Alisah planned a surprise for her on the terrace of their home. The place was lit up with fairy lights and decorated with balloons and notes for Sushmita. One of the videos shows her cutting a cake with her family in a makeshift tent.
“What a magical #birthday everything I could’ve wished for and more. Thank you jaan @rohmanshawl for this all heart birthday surprise!!! I love you. Everyone acted sooooo well... I really had no idea!!! And there it was... a magical terrace with lights, balloons, tent, yummy cake and heartfelt notes suspended all over... How simply loved you make me feel,” she wrote.
Rohman Shawl also posted an adorable note for Sushmita on Instagram. He posted a picture of Sushmita taking a photograph of the sunset and wrote, “Just as the rising sun brings light to the world, you my love, bring light to my life!! Truth be told, I wanted to write paragraphs about you on this special day, but hey, when I think about you I am just as awestruck and speechless as I was, when I saw you sitting there while taking this picture!!”
