After a triumphant series against Bangladesh which saw India extend their Test winning streak to seven, captain Virat Kohli took some time to unwind before India faces off against West Indies in an ODI and T20I series next month.
With some time off from the field before the next assignment, the Indian skipper went for a movie with his wife and actor Anushka Sharma. “About last night. At the movies with this hottie,” the 31-year-old cricketer wrote in a post.
Kohli’s men have had a very interesting 2019. From series losses against Australia and England, to a disappointing semi-final exit at the hands of New Zealand at the 2019 World Cup, India didn’t have the strongest first half.
However, India has rebounded well with whitewashes against South Africa and Bangladesh in Tests. India is currently on a four-game streak of wins by an innings or more, and are comfortably sitting atop the Test Championship standings with 360 points from seven wins in seven games.
India will finish the year against West Indies before facing Sri Lanka and Australia at home and New Zealand away from home in January.
