As Alia Bhatt celebrates her 26th birthday today, wishes pour in from her family, friends as well as her fans. While she celebrated her special day with her family and Ranbir Kapoor on Thursday, she received a pleasant surprise when Rani Mukerji wished her on stage at the Maharastra Achievers’ Awards 2019 held yesterday. As Alia climbed up on stage to receive Entertainer of the Year (Female) Award, Rani Mukerji presented the award and sang the Happy Birthday song. Rani was joined by actor Ravi Dubey. In the video shared on Instagram, Alia was seen clapping and grooving.
As Rani turned heads by sporting a metallic pink saree, Alia Bhatt looked super cute in a pink peplum top and tangerine flared trousers. Rani was last seen in Hichki, that released in 2018. The actor has been nominated for Filmfare Award Best Actress.
Meanwhile Alia, who also has a nomination to her name for her role in Raazi, is currently preparing for Brahmastra. She will be seen in the magnum opus Kalank. She has also signed up for Karan Johar’s next directorial Takht. Besides all these, Alia will be working with her father Mahesh Bhatt and sister Pooja for the first time in Sadak 2 starring Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur.
