Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar responded hilariously to a meme shared by the Maharashtra Police on Twitter which used a scene from the trailer of their upcoming film The Sky Is Pink. The trailer for the film was released on Tuesday 10 September and generated a lot of buzz on social media.
In one scene, Farhan’s character is discussing his financial woes with Priyanka. Priyanka in turn says, "Ek baar Aisha theek ho jaye, phir saath mein bank lootenge." Maharashtra Police’s official Twitter handle used the line as basis for a meme, writing, “Seven years imprisonment with fine under IPC Section 393 #ColoursOfLaw #TheSkyIsPink @priyankachopra @FarOutAkhtar”

The Sky Is Pink is directed by Shonali Bose and based on the life of author and motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who battled terminal illness and passed away in 2015 at the age of 19. Zaira Wasim is essaying the role of Ayesha in the movie. Farhan and Priyanka play her parents.
The film recently had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and will go on to screen at the London and Busan film festivals. It will release in theatres on 11 October.
