Parineeti Chopra has proved her mettle as a singer with Sachin–Jigar composition Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin in the 2017 romcom Meri Pyaari Bindu. Now, the singer-actor is all set to release her first single, Mujhe Tum Nazar Se. The Bhushan Kumar production is composed by Amaal Mallik and the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir.
Speculations are rife that the new song is a recreation of Mehdi Hassan’s song by the same name.
Speaking to Pune Mirror, Manoj Muntashir said, “The song was recorded around three months back and it is being upgraded now. Parineeti Chopra will be re-dubbing some portions sometime this month and the video will be shot in May.”
Besides Parineeti, the video will also require a male actor, and the recce has already begun, informs Manoj, who has penned remake versions of Saanu Ek Pal and Mere Rashke Qamar for Raid and Baadshaho respectively.
Parineeti is busy with her new films, Bhuj: The Pride of India and the Saina Nehwal biopic.
