Ranveer Singh ended 2018 on a high note by marrying his long-time girlfriend Deepika Padukone. The couple were wed at two consecutive private ceremonies at Lake Como in Italy on 14-15 November, and since then they haven’t been able to stop gushing about each other.
Filmfare recently released a short teaser of an upcoming interview with Ranveer in which he declares that he loves that Deepika is “so gharelu (such a homebody)”. He also proudly declared that he would be “husband of the millennium”.
In an earlier interview with the publication, Deepika had revealed that the two got engaged four years ago, though only their immediate families were in the know at the time. They began dating after meeting on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2012.
Of late, Ranveer has been seeing roaring success in his professional life as well. His last film Simmba earned Rs 202.83 crore at the box office on day 12. He will soon be seen on the big screen again, this time dishing out some ‘asli hip hop’ opposite Alia Bhatt in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The film releases on 14 February.
