Disha Patani recently opened up about her equation with Baaghi 2 co-star and rumoured beau Tiger Shroff in an interview with an online portal. While the couple have never officially confirmed their relationship, rumours that they have been dating have been doing the rounds for a while and they are often spotted around town together.
In response to Tiger’s claims that they are just “great friends”, Disha told Pinkvilla, “He's too slow motion, man. I'm been trying to impress him and I keep telling him that. I have learnt gymnastics and I've done a film [Bharat] where I'm taking a flip through a fire ring. He's still not impressed. What more can I do?”
“He’s too slow. Someone has to break the ice and speak up. He is a great friend but I want things to get a little more than being just great friends. I’m trying my best to impress him but he’s just not agreeing,” she added.
Tiger dodged Karan Johar’s question on Disha Patani on a recent appearance on Koffee With Karan saying “I’m great friends with her. I love her company and we are keeping it at that, really,” he said. Speaking about their frequent outings together, Tiger said, “We both have very similar interests. And I don’t have very many friends in the industry. She is one of the very few friends I have that I’m comfortable with.”
Tiger Shroff was last seen opposite Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria in Student of the Year 2. The film has been directed by Punit Malhotra and backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Disha Patani will be seen next opposite Salman Khan in Bharat. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is an adaptation of Korean title Ode to My Father and also stars Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover and Tabu.
