Recently, a photo of Rakhi Sawant dressed in a white wedding gown started doing the rounds on the internet. This led to rumours that Rakhi Sawant had supposedly gotten married to a NRI (Non-resident Indian). According to reports, Rakhi Sawant wanted to ensure that the whole affair remain a low-key one and hence, chose to get married in a hotel room among a handful of close guests only.
However, Rakhi Sawant quashed these rumours by sharing a photo of herself in the wedding gown. The caption says, “bridal shoot.”
According to a report by India Today, upon being approached, Rakhi denied the rumours of her secret wedding and was, in fact, single. She clarified, “I was doing a bridal shoot at JW Marriott, I don't know why people are saying that I am married. I am not married, I am not in a relationship. I am very much single.”
In the photos Rakhi shared on her social media, she is dressed in a white bridal gown with a veil. She is also wearing a chooda in one hand.

In November 2018, Rakhi had announced that she was getting married to India’s Got Talent ‘star’ Deepak Kalal. However, she later took to social media to clarify that she wasn’t getting married to him anymore.
She shared a video on Instagram in which she said, “ I'm sorry, my friend Deepak, but I am a nice girl. My mom, my brother and my family is very upset with me. They don't like all this sh*t. I have done hard work to come here. For the last 12-15 years, I was in the film industry and I worked hard, so I don't want to do these sh*tty and cheap things anymore."
