Recently, Deepika Padukone attended her best friend’s wedding in Bangalore and it was a royal affair. However, the actor had to pay a price for having “too much fun.” She recently took to Instagram to share a story of her looking tired from exhaustion, and wrote, “When you have too much fun at your best friends’ wedding!”.
Photographs and videos of Deepika at the wedding were doing the rounds on the internet recently.
Meanwhile, on November 14, Deepika and Ranveer will be completing a year to their wedding. The two had got hitched last year in an intimate double wedding ceremony in Italy.
On the work front, Deepika will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, based on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The film also stars Vikrant Massey and will hit the theatres in January 2020. She will also feature in Kabir Khan’s sports drama ’83.
Apart from the two movies, Deepika has another ambitious project in hand. She will be moving on to an adaptation of the Hindu epic Mahabharat, She will produce as well as act in Mahabharat and will essay the role of Draupadi.
The actor said that she is honoured to be part of the project. “I am thrilled to be playing the role of Draupadi. I believe that this is the role of a lifetime.”
