We all saw Gauri Khan shake a leg with Shah Rukh Khan at Isha Ambani’s recent pre-wedding celebrations in Jodhpur. It was a rare occasion when Gauri was seen dancing on stage with husband SRK. Gauri herself shared a picture from their performance on Twitter and it got the perfect reply from Shah Rukh Khan.
“On stage after decades ....in a @falgunipeacock outfit, they definitely know how to make it dramatic and timeless,” is what Gauri wrote in her tweet while sharing the photo.
SRK being the total charmer that he is set some perfect hubby goals when he retweeted Gauri’s post by adding “You are timeless!!” as a comment.

2. Abhishek Explains Why Amitabh, Aamir Were Serving Food at the Ambani Wedding
Were you also amused to see some of the biggest Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan serving food to guests at the recent Isha Ambani wedding? Well you weren’t alone. Several Twitter users were perplexed and surprised to see the celebs move from one table to another serving food to the guests at the wedding.
It wasn’t just Amitabh, Aamir and SRK - in fact Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai too were serving food with a smile for the guests at the Ambani - Piramal wedding.

3. Ranveer Singh on Parenthood, “It’s Deepika’s Call Mostly”
In one of his first public appearances after his wedding with Deepika Padukone, actor Ranveer Singh opened up about his feelings on marriage and parenthood. Speaking at the India Economic Conclave 2018 organised by a media group, Ranveer had this to say when asked about being a father:
“It’s not my call really. Partly yes, it’s my call but mostly it’s just her and I allow her that. I allow her to make most of the decisions because she is better at everything. I have no qualms in admitting that she is a much more mature, much more evolved person than me.”Ranveer Singh, Actor
Talking about his marriage, Ranveer Singh said that it’s the best thing that has happened to him and that he would recommend it to the entire young population in the country.
“I feel like I am alive. Marriage is the best thing that has happened to me. I feel some kind of magic, some kind of power, I feel invincible. You know in superhero movies, the moment when the suit comes on, I feel marriage has done that to me. I feel like I have grown up now, I feel like I’m a man, I feel grounded and I feel secure,” is how Ranveer described his feelings post his grand wedding with Deepika.
4. Vikas Khanna’s First Film Featuring Neena Gupta to Premiere In the US
Celebrity chef Vikas Khanna’s directorial debut feature film The Last Color, starring Neena Gupta, will have its world premiere at the prestigious 30th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival 2019.
The film will be screened thrice during the festival being held from January 3-14, 2019. The film is under the competition category - New Voices New Vision.
The movie, which marks Vikas' debut as a director and screenwriter, is based on his bestselling book by the same name.
The Last Color is the story of Chhoti (Aqsa Siddiqui) - a nine-year-old flower seller and tightrope walker who befriends Noor (Neena Gupta), a 70-year-old widow living a life of complete abstinence. Chhoti promises to bring a ray of hope in the life of Noor. Besides Neena and Aqsa, the film also stars transgender activist Rudrani Chettri.
The teaser of the film was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year and marked Vikas' fourth appearance at the fest. The film has been shot by Subhranshu Das, and produced by Bindu Khanna, Poonam Kaul and Jitendra Mishra under the banner of House Of Omkar.
The Last Color is inspired by the real-life experiences observed by Vikas while researching around food and culture for his books and TV shows. He was shooting for Holi for his book "Utsav: A Culinary Epic of Indian Festivals" in Vrindavan when he witnessed a desolate sight - everyone was playing with colours during the festival except for the widows who were dressed in white and watching the celebrations from their balconies and terraces.

5. Winners of the Critics Choice Short Film Awards
Two short films Sambhavtaha and Tungrus won big at the Critics Choice Short Film Awards. The ceremony on Saturday was organised by The Film Critics Guild and Motion Content Group with the intention to recognise and appreciate the inventiveness and creativity of short storytellers across the country.
The short (fiction) film Sambhavtaha won multiple awards, including Best Film - Fiction, Best Actor for Vikas Patil and Best Director and Best Writer - Fiction for Gaurav Madan.
Tungrus, a 14-minute documentary which revolves around a family that has adopted a rooster and decides to kill and eat their pet to bring back the normalcy of their lives, won the Best Film Award - Non-Fiction. Rishi Chandna won Best Director - Non Fiction and Neha Mehra won the Best Editor for Tungrus.
Another short, The Black Cat bagged Best Cinematography (A. Vasanth) and Best Music (Advait Nemlekar) at the Short Film Awards.
