Salman Khan’s next biggie Bharat has been in the news recently for Priyanka Chopra’s surprise exit from the film. However, with the inclusion of Katrina Kaif in this ambitious big budget venture, Bharat is back on track and first shooting schedule is currently underway. With a title like Bharat, it’s easy to guess that patriotism is going to be a key ingredient in this narrative.
On the occasion of Independence Day, Salman Khan chose to release the first teaser of Bharat on social media. The short 50 second audio visual features Salman’s voice saying, “Babuji kehte thhe, kuch rishte zameen se hote hain, aur kuch khoon se... mere paas dono hi thhe!”

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is scheduled to release on Eid next year.
