Priyanka Chopra Unsure About Working In Rakesh Sharma Biopic

Priyanka Chopra confirms that she was offered a role in Rakesh Sharma biopic when Aamir was a part of the project.

Priyanka Chopra spilled some beans on her upcoming projects after making an appearance in India after six months. Priyanka was rumoured to be a part of astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s biopic opposite Aamir Khan.

Priyanka confirmed that she has been offered a part in the project. But with recent reports of Aamir Khan dropping out of the film, Priyanka is unsure about working in it.

Priyanka’s name has been associated with the project since a long time but neither the actor nor the film’s producer, Sidharth Roy Kapur had given any confirmation on the same. Recently, Priyanka confirmed on this being one of the scripts that she had finalised and they were scheduled to film in 2019.

“I have finalised two-three scripts. Now, I am left to make announcements. Yes, Rakesh Sharma biopic was one of them. I was approached for that film when Aamir was doing it. We were supposed to do in 2019. Now, I don’t know”.

Just a few days back, reports of Shah Rukh Khan replacing Aamir Khan in the biopic had been making headlines. When asked if she still will be a part of the film with the new lead, Priyanka told PTI,

“I don’t know. I haven’t got any confirmations. I haven’t spoken to Sid or Mahesh sir. As soon as I know, I will see”.

Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan last shared screen space in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2 in 2011.
