The release of Ritesh Batra directorial Photograph, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra, has been postponed by a week. The film, which was set to hit theatres on 8 March, will now be released on 15 March.

Photograph had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and is also part of the Berlin International Film Festival 2019. The story centres around a photographer who convinces a stranger to pose as his fiancee after being pressured by his grandmother to get married.
Speaking about the film’s lead actors Ritesh said in an interview, “Nawaz has a real innocence about him that he brings to the character, and Sanya has a way of saying things without words, she’s a very meticulous and detailed performer. So they fit these parts, I was lucky to find them.”
The film is presented by Amazon Studios in association with The Match Factory.
