1. SRK In Shashi Kapoor’s Song For ‘Zero’ a Coincidence: Aanand Rai

When the first teaser for Aanand L Rai’s Zero was released many of us presumed the song Humko Tumpe Pyar Aaya... originally featured in the 1960s musical blockbuster film Jab Jab Phool Khile, was being used on Shah Rukh Khan as a homage to Shashi Kapoor who died last month.

But Aanand, who loves vintage music, Mohd Rafi, Shashi Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan, not necessarily in that order, says the song was selected long before the tragic demise  of Shashi.

2. ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ Is the 3rd Highest Overseas Grosser for Salman

‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is the 3rd highest overseas grosser for Salman Khan and more stories.

The latest Salman Khan film, Tiger ZInda Hai, isn’t showing any signs of flickering like Bhai’s last film, Tubelight. Instead, the film’s business is growing leaps and bounds. Tiger Zinda Hai has already become the 3rd highest overseas grosser in terms of Salman Khan’s films, with a collection of ₹ 97 crore (USD 15.15 million).

However,Tiger Zinda Hai did not manage to race past Bhai’s other blockbusters namely, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which collected ₹ 184.71 crore (USD 29 million) overseas, and Sultan which had collected ₹ 155.28 crore (USD 24.38 million).

Tiger Zinda Hai is poised to mark a few highs in the domestic box-office as well.

Actress Priyanka Chopra says she was advised not to be a part of Bollywood films Aitraaz and Fashion, but she decided to take a "risk" as she believes her career in showbiz has been full of risky choices.

"When I was younger, I never saw a long-term plan. I am not from the film community; my career has always been full of risky choices and I took decisions off the paved path. My greatest risk was me not knowing that I was taking a risk," Priyanka told Forbes magazine in an interview.

Saif Ali Khan, known for films like Being Cyrus, Omkara and Parineeta, says he will be a better actor in English as it is his primary language. During an episode of online streaming service Saavn's upcoming show Take 2 with Anupama and Rajeev, Saif spoke about his career, his daughter Sara and son Taimur, read a statement.

“One of the reasons why I got into films unfortunately, I’m being honest, is because I wasn’t interested in my exams and academics and I just ran away from home and said ‘Oh movies sound great’. But I didn’t really know what I was talking about,” said Saif Ali Khan.
