On the occasion of World Emoji Day, actor Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter account to reveal that his next film Mission Mangal, will have its own emoji on the social media website.
“It’s amazing to see so much enthusiasm to find the best emoji for #MissionMangal. The #MissionMangalEmoji has just been made. Thank you @TwitterIndia. #WorldEmojiDay,” he wrote.
The emoji depicts the Indian flag being hoisted on Mars.
Mission Mangal is loosely based on the individual stories of scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission or Mangalyaan, which marked India’s first interplanetary expedition in 2013.
The film also stars Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi.
The teaser of the film was released recently.
Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal will release in theatres on India’s Independence Day, 15 August.
