Lipstick Under My Burkha has won 10 international awards already and is releasing in India on the 21st of July. And the new poster of the film doing the rounds has just whetted our curiosity. Bold and rebellious, the poster is a direct comment on the society’s (along with the dear old CBFC) repression of women and sexuality.

Poor Pahlaj Nihalani!

The new poster literally shows the middle finger to patriarchy with the digit in the form of a lipstick, representing the woman.
