Atif Aslam's Song From "Notebook" to Be Re-Recorded by Another Singer

Director Nitin Kakkar Thursday confirmed that a song from his upcoming film "Notebook", that was earlier sung by Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, will now be re-recorded with a new singer.

Following the blanket ban on Pakistani artistes in the wake of Pulwama terror attack, Aslam's song from the "Notebook", that is produced by Salman Khan, will be redone. The film has total of five songs in the film and out of which one was sung by Atif.

Navjot Singh Sidhu Banned From Mumbai's Film City Post Pulwama Comments

After his controversial remarks on the dastardly Pulwama attack which got him sacked from the Kapil Sharma Show, Navjot Singh Sidhu has now reportedly been banned from entering the Film City in Mumbai, DNA reported. The decision was reportedly taken by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees.

'Gully Boy' Crosses Rs 100 Cr Mark at Box Office

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer Gully Boy has earned Rs 100.30 crores at the box office as of day 8, reports trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

On 21 February, Adarsh observed that the Zoya Akhtar directorial received strong support from the metro cities since its premiere but overall saw “weak mass circuits”. Box office figures on day 7 stood at Rs 95.20 crores.

Game of Thrones actor Sophie Turner celebrated her 23rd birthday on 21 February. Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to wish Sophie, who is engaged to her brother-in-law Joe Jonas. Musician Peter Tork Dead at 77

Veteran musician Peter Tork, better known as a member of the pop group The Monkees, is dead. He was 77.

Tork's sister Anne Thorkelson confirmed the news of Tork's demise, saying he breathed his last on Thursday, reports theguardian.com.

The exact cause of his death has not been specified, although the guitarist had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer a decade ago.

Later, an official statement issued on Tork's Facebook account read: "We are all saddened to share the news that Peter Thorkelson - friend, father, husband, grandfather, philosopher, goofball, entertainer - died peacefully this morning at a family home in Connecticut."

Peter succumbed to a 10-year bout of adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare cancer of the salivary glands.
