Arjun Reddy finally has his heroine. Starring opposite Shahid Kapoor for the first time is Kiara Advani who will essay the role of his love interest in the Hindi remake. The love story will be helmed by the director of the original, Sandeep Vanga.
Kiara is excited to play what she calls one of the most challenging roles of her career so far.

The film will reportedly require Kiara to have several variations in terms of performance as well as look.
Shahid Kapoor took to Twitter to share the news.
While Kiara was being considered from the beginning, the makers had some date issues, that have been cleared since the film, which is produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios, is now expected to go on floors in early October.
Director Sandeep says, “Kiara epitomizes the female character in the film to the T. She has the perfect combination of innocence (in terms of looks) and maturity (in terms of performance) that’s so important for the character.”
