RSVP has announced the release date for their upcoming film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota along with the first poster. The film is the debut of Abhimanyu Dassani and also stars Radhika Madan, Gulshan Devaiah and Mahesh Majrekar. It is written and directed by Vasan Bala. Vasan had earlier directed Peddlers which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival but didn’t get an Indian release.
Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year where it won the People’s Choice Award. It was also screen at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival where it received an uproarious response.
The action-comedy revolves around a young man with congenital insensitivity to pain, that is he literally cannot feel pain (the English title is The Man Who Feels No Pain.) Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is set to release on 21 March.
