Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha had mixed reviews, with most critics calling the film a long drawn out PSA for Swachh Bharat - but the audience seems to be enjoying this social drama.
The film, which started off with Rs 13.10 crore collections on Friday, rose to over Rs 20 crore by Sunday.
With an extended weekend, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha will continue to do good business on Monday (Janmashtami) and Tuesday (Independence Day) as well. This Akshay Kumar-Bhumi Pednekar film could turn out to be the biggest Bollywood money spinner this year so far.

4. Ram Leela Recall: Nawazuddin Shares Kid’s ‘Nandalala’ Snap
Last year Nawazuddin Siddiqui had expressed disappointment at not being allowed to participate in the stage version of Ram Leela in his home town Budhana, Muzaffarnagar because he is a Muslim. He had taken to social media to share the incident.
