Dear India,

Congratulations on your 67th Republic Day! We celebrate January 26 because it ensures our fundamental rights like freedom of speech and expression.

Welcome to what I believe is the most decisive time in our nation's history. I disagree when people say that we are "the leaders of tomorrow."

No! We are the leaders of today; why wait for tomorrow? Our time is here and now. It is our strength and responsibility to 'Make India'.

India, your beauty lies in the freedom you give us. To follow the religion of our choice, to marry whom we choose, and the right to love whom we see fit. To build the future that we want for ourselves.

Our strength lies in our unity. There is no point dividing us on the basis of our caste, creed, class and gender.

We're lucky to be born today. Let's make most of it, benefit from it and share our experiences.
