The Mumbai Court has granted David Headley pardon and made him an approver in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.
He will depose as a prosecution witness on February 8, 2016.
Pakistani-American terrorist David Coleman Headley appeared in a Bombay court via video conference on Thursday. Television reports stated that he pleaded guilty to being party to the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
According to NDTV, Headley has admitted to being a part of the LeT, the group responsible for the attacks. Headley has also confessed to filming landmarks in the city as part of his research for the attacks.
He has been in jail since he was arrested in October 2009 from Chicago. He was arrested on his way to Pakistan.
