The world’s largest ship Harmony of the Seas, set out on its maiden sail on 22 May, for a short four-day getaway from Rotterdam to Southampton.

What was meant to be a luxury voyage, turned out to be a ‘floating construction site’, with broken amenities, and cruisers demanding their money back over a “PR Disaster”.

The ship took over two-years and £800 million to build. The £227,000 luxury liner has been dubbed a ‘serious risk’ to passengers by the outraged customers.

The passengers complained of closed water-slides, missing glass from docks and long lines at bars and restaurants which required cordoning off when the crowd piled up.

Apart from clogged and over-flowing urinals, most marketed children’s activities, like water slides, were shut for the entirety of the trip.

Passengers complained of construction work being carried out throughout the night, near the cabins where they slept.

The maiden voyage on 1 June was to arrive in Barcelona, Spain on 5 June.

Operated by Royal Caribbean International, the liner claimed to offer a luxurious experience to all the 6,000 passengers on board.

It boats of world-class amenities, 20 restaurants, fun activities like 23 swimming pools, water slides and even a carousel on board.

A New Indian Express report claimed that the luxury liner will make a stop at Kochi in India. However, the official website and the itinerary of the cruise does not mention the stopover.
