India’s external affairs minister, Sushma Swaraj on Saturday in a stern statement responded to the recent comments made by Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Shariff, where he expressed hope of Kashmir soon becoming part of Pakistan.
Swaraj was joined by Ministers of State, MJ Akbar and VK Singh as she took to slamming Shariff for his comments by declaring that of Pakistan’s ‘dangerous’ dreams of claiming Kashmir will never be fulfilled.

In the strong worded response to recent rhetoric from Pakistani establishment, she Pakistan for its continued support to terrorism, and questioned PM Shariff’s decision of calling Wani a ‘martyr’.
Pakistan PM himself called Burhan Wani a ‘martyr’, doesn’t he know that Burhan Wani was a commander of Hizbul Mujahideen? A Country which used fighter planes and artillery against its own people has no right whatsoever to point a finger against our security forces.
Swaraj’s comments come a day after Sharif at a rally on Friday criticised India over the recent violence in Kashmir, and expressed hope of making Kashmir a part of Pakistan. Shariff, was addressing a gathering in PoK after his party PML-N cruised to victory in the state’s legislative assembly elections.
PML-N is set to form the next government in PoK as the unofficial results of the election for 41 direct seats of the legislative assembly yesterday suggested a landslide victory for the party.
