Deaf and mute Indian woman, Geeta, who was compelled to live in Pakistan after she accidentally crossed over to the other side of the border, has finally found her family, reports NDTV.
Sources say Geeta has identified her father, step-mother and siblings from a photograph sent to her by the Indian High Commission in Islamabad. The family reportedly lives in Bihar.

Geeta was around 11 years old when she wandered into Pakistan, and could not come back home for almost 12 years.
In her 20s now, Geeta’s story was recently in the news after Salman’s Khan’s blockuster film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film had narrated a similar story of a little Pakistani girl who had wandered into India and was helped by Salman to return home.
Geeta presently lives at a charitable home run by the Edhi Foundation, in Karachi.
