  • St Stephen’s college announced its admission schedule on Tuesday but remained silent on whether it will join the centralised registration process of Delhi University (DU), as decided by the university.

DU had announced on Monday that minority colleges such as St Stephen’s and Jesus and Mary will now join the centralised admission process from the upcoming academic session, rather than have individualised registration systems.

  • These institutions, however, will use their own discretion while selecting and admitting students.

  • However, three colleges run by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC)-Mata Sundari College for Women, Sri Guru Nanak Dev (SGND) Khalsa College and Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce – which were granted minority status last year – have approached university authorities to permit them to have their own admission processes.
