Indian mafia don Dawood Ibrahim has gangrene and is on his death bed and is getting treated in Karachi, Pakistan, according to CNN News18. Dawood is getting treated at the Liaquat National Hospital and the Combined Military Hospital, Karachi, doctors at the hospital have said.
The CNN News18 report reads:
Sources told CNN-News18 that at such an advanced stage of gangrene, he is unlikely to be cured fully.
The gangrene, the doctors have said, is caused due to high blood pressure – the life-threatening kind.
The Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan, which is reportedly taking care of Dawood, is unlikely to move him out of Karachi.
Dawood has been convicted of organising the 1993 Mumbai blasts which killed over 200 people and injured hundreds others.
