It all began when Shah Rukh Khan posted an emotional tweet to celebrate 12 years of Farah Khan’s debut film Main Hoon Na on Saturday.

A fanatic Salman fan called @SalmansCrusader (nothing less) immediately jumped in to remind SRK that his latest release Fan had tanked at the box-office.

Woah! That’s something which no Shah Rukh fan will take lying down. @AdiSRKian tweeted in defence of the Badshah saying:

Things obviously heated up. @SalmanCrusader felt merely getting back with words wasn’t enough, he backed up his response with box-office figures and a scalding message against SRK which read:
@AdiSRKian ok pehle Ranveer or ab Mogli ne m** c** *i ; ab kya izzat reh gayi ..@SalmanCrusader
Seeing that things had got out of hand, another SRK fan jumped in with information about how Salman Khan had got beaten at the box-office by Ranbir Kapoor’s second film. The Khan fans here are so fanatic that they don’t see the difference between Ranbir and Ranveer!
Things quickly escalated with the Salman Khan fan’s comeback turning out to be a screen grab from a news channel that declared: “Bacche Se Pite King Khan!”, not so subtly referring to the fact that The Jungle Book won the box-office race against Fan.
The unofficial SRK camp’s rebuttal was equally painful - “Bajrangi Bhaijaan Bal Hanuman Se Pit Gaya!”, reminding Bhai’s fan that there was a time when Salman’s film Marigold lost out to the animation Bal Hanuman. And they had a fully illustrated placard to make the point, talk about quick turnaround time!
The major point then came down to ‘izzat’ with Salman’s fan pointing out that “Srk jitni bezzati kiisi ki nai huyi”
Shah Rukh’s fan’s rejoinder for the izzat bit was to rake up how Salman Khan ate channa for breakfast while in jail - ouch!
As you can make out, things pretty much further deteriorated from here on into more such Your Khan vs My Khan bashing.
This whole timeline basically shows that India needs more jobs!
