Exit polls in Kerala have predicted a win for the LDF who are estimated to cinch over 82 seats out of the total 140. Over 1200 candidates are competing in the state with BJP desperately trying to nab seats and open their account.

With a decline from the last election, Kerala recorded only around 70% voter turnout. As per predictions, Congress-led alliance will be able to grab around 40-60 seats. While on the other side of the state border, it is a close competition for DMK and AIADMK in Tamil Nadu.

Jayalalithaa’s party AIADMK is slated to win over 115 seats out of the 232 constituencies. The states wait with bated breath for the big day – 19 May when the results will be out.
