Heavy rains and severe waterlogging in several parts of Mumbai continues to throw normal life out of gear. A 32-year-old woman was killed when a wall of her house collapsed after heavy rain in Kolhapur.

Heavy Rains Lash Gujarat’s Saurashtra Region
Three died in the heavy rains that have lashed Gujarat's Saurashtra region.
Junagadh, Gir-Somnath, Rajkot, Dang, Surat and Aravalli districts continue to receive heavy downpours. Shetrunji Dam in Saurashtra continues to overflow. The authorities have shut 154 roads of the state, including one national highway and four state highways.

Cloudburst in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli District
Several houses, shops and vehicles were swept away following a cloudburst in Tharali and Ghat areas of Uttarakhand’s Chamoli distrtict.
The cloudburst flooded Pranmati River on its way to the Ratgaon in Tharali. Heavy rains also caused landslides in Dhurma-Kundi village in Ghat area. Rescue teams rushed to the areas.
Vehicles Damaged in Landslides in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh
Vehicles were damaged due to landslides on Bagipul-Jao road in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Although there were no reports of injuries, two vehicles were damaged.
Darhal and Thanna Mandi rivers overflow in J&K’s Rajouri
Four have died died after a landslide hit Sehar Baba waterfall near Riasi. A landslide occurred near Himkoti on the new track to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. No injuries were reported but the track has been temporarily closed for pilgrims.

Heavy Rains in Several Parts of Kerala Disrupt Normal Life
The Kerala districts worst-affected by waterlogging include Alappuzha, Idukki, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kottayam, Kollam and Kochi.
The Met Department has issued an alert for the coastal districts, warning fishermen not to venture in the rough seas.
Alerts were also issued in the hilly areas warning of possible landslides.
