From claims about the President of the United States of America (USA) Donald Trump, posting an 'angry rant' about Prime Minister Narendra Modi amid rising tariffs and a false communal claim about a Muslim passenger being slapped on an Indigo flight, here are some pieces of misinformation that we fact-checked this week.
1. Altered Video Passed off as PM Modi Expressing Panic After Pakistan’s Attack
A video of PM Modi speaking in the Parliament is being shared on the internet with a claim that it shows him talking how he was unprepared after the recent escalations with Pakistan.
In the clip, he mentioned that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval were afraid after Pakistan's attack.
However, the claim is false as the clip has been heavily altered to mislead viewers.

5. Fact-Check: Did US President Donald Trump Post an Angry Rant About PM Modi? No!
An image which purportedly shows a screenshot of a post from President Donald Trump's Truth Social account has gone viral on social media.
In this alleged statement, Trump criticised Modi for not responding to his posts and tariff concerns, despite claiming to have given India favourable deals and support.
He expressed disappointment over the lack of gratitude, warning that such “disrespect” harms both business and bilateral relations.
However, the claim is false.
