Startup India Official Quits After #ProPakDovesSilent Gaffe

A controversy ensued when the Startup India handle retweeted two offensive and “irrelevant” tweets.

The Commerce and Industry Ministry on Wednesday, through a series of tweets, said action has been taken against the individual responsible for retweeting “unwarranted and irrelevant re-tweets” on the official Startup India handle.

The controversy broke out after the handle retweeted two tweets which were “unwarranted and irrelevant.”
