- A woman has lodged a complaint against Jharkhand’s ruling BJP legislator Janki Yadav, alleging that the latter tried to develop physical relations with her and molest her. The woman is member of the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) party.
- In her compliant to a Koderma court on Monday, she said she had given Yadav a loan of Rs 10 lakh when he contested the Jharkhand assembly polls in 2004, 2009 and 2014. According to her complaint, she demanded the money from Yadav in February 2015.
- She said she was called to a hotel in Ranchi and was paid only Rs 25,000 and was molested by Yadav. The BJP legislator has rubbished the charges.
