Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) Bindu Shekhar Jha was found unconscious at platform number four of Jhansi station in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday.
Jha was investigating Vyapam Scam. He was headed to Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh on Malwa Express.
Incidentally, on the same day, CBI conducted raids in 40 locations in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh including the premises of alleged mastermind Jagdish Sagar and Dhanraj Yadav, a former OSD to Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav. The office of MP Professional Examination Board is also being searched by the CBI team.
